I hosted a series on Chinese Leaders with the P&G Alumni Learnings from Leaders Podcast. The fourth episode is with my former boss Ravi Chaturvedi, an experienced leader with a proven track record of success across seven developed and developing countries. Ravi is a Senior Fellow in the Management Department of the Wharton School of Business and has been a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. He became P&G’s first-ever Asian President and member of the Global Leadership Council after 20 years with the company. He was also the Group Chief Executive of Jet Airways for a short tenure and has served as a consultant and advisor to the Nitto Denko Corporation in Japan. Ravi has also advised portfolio CEOs of companies across industries and served as an advisor to Marico and Emami—Indian consumer goods companies that are expanding internationally.
In our episode, we discussed:
- His wisdom from decades of experience
- How he determines who he invests time in mentoring
- How he leverages what he learned at P&G in the world of PE today
