A behavioral specialist at Idaho Falls Elementary School ran this simple but brilliant experiment for her kids. One of those impactful images one can’t unsee.

I love teaching, and am inspired by this great example because:

  1. Context. She uses the kids’ everyday environment – relevant and relatable
  2. Time frame. Conducted within a reasonable window, they remain engaged
  3. Visualization. The results speak for themselves – no words needed

As we’re all helping our kids get the most out of this time, in addition to the fun experiments I recently shared, this would be a great one to help explain why we’re all at home. Make the experiment a game– whoever finds the most bacteria in the house wins and gets to watch while the others clean it!   #elearning #LifeLessons
